Have you tried something as simple as using GIFs or PNG files? I don't like JPGs for the web for reasons like this. As said above though, you need to get rid of the images and pick up some CSS skills (even if it's just some basics, to fill the large colour areas) Dreamweaver will do all the hardwork for you, this will also have a positive impact on the performance of your site.

I tried a few of the CMS systems and found them not to fit my needs so i run my own CMS built on Zend Framework for my clients.

Godfather: Blackhand Edition (the wii version) is really neat... lots of stuff to do, lots of destruction and mayhem... and the wiimote integration is were the game really shines... i never played the original version, but as i understand it, there hass been a good amount added compared to the oringinal xbox version... not to mention over 25 wiimote gestures for executing and intimidating people...

Lots of additional levels in the Wii version that weren't in the original, as well. Definitely buying this next week.

Just in case anybody is interested...

I made a simple CoreImage test app to try and get to grips with CoreImage. It's not very advanced but it can do a number of effects and is fun to play with.

I need somebody to host it for the moment because I'm away from my webserver so if anybody can do that then it will be available for download.

Requires a CoreImage compatible graphics card that is Quartz2DExtreme capable. Works nice and smoothly on my 17" Powerbook (Most recent gen).

It's a phone so small, that it can't even be used. But it's made by Apple, so I couldn't resist buying it!

This was done in about 2 minutes.

This is really amazing. If I turn the power switch on my monitor off, your avatar stays exactly the same, while every other avatar disappears!

Pages is perfectly fine for word processing, which I know from experience as I been using it for that purpose every day for nearly two years. Most of the people who say otherwise either haven't learned to use it or would have preferred that Apple produce a Word clone. Some of are very happy that they did not go that route.

I like instrumentals a good bit, though there aren't really any bands I like that are dedicated to it (I should check out Explosions in the Sky sometime, shouldn't I?).

Here are some of my favorite instrumental tracks:
    *On the Run-Pink Floyd
    *YYZ-Rush
*Just Like You Imagined-Nine Inch Nails

OOH, and I also love the Black Mages!

Unless you'd go bankrupt from loosing out on a potential 75$ uplift on resale value I'd drop 03.10.01. If you still had 01.59 I would have of course reponded differently...

I solved the problem... apparently using the button to perform the action I needed, will indeed require me to click on it twice and then only perform the pan action. So I removed it and added an Image and added gesture recognizer to it.

    Here is the updated code...

The code for the Image -

Since no examples were given, I have to say: USE COMIC SANS FOR EVERYTHING.

Seriously, each document/logo/presentation needs deep consideration of the audience, corporate branding, etc., to choose a font. This usually isn't a "throw a dart and choose a font" type of thing...

If you use a stereo audio minijack to RCA then there will be separate volume controls on your Mac and TV, try turning volume up on both devices. With TOSlink there will not be a volume control on the Mac, you will have to adjust from the TV. Is there a stereo/AV system involved or are you using the speakers installed in the TV itself? Double check that you aren't mixing up the in/out ports and that the HDMI port you are using is associated with an audio input, some devices assume HDMI will carry the audio and you may need to use a specific HDMI port acocciated with the audio in jack.

Looked through the forums for this topic, but no dice. My question:

I'd like to transfer pictures from my CDMA phone (on Sprint; LG Rumor2) via bluetooth to my ipod touch 3rd gen. I've gotten them to recognize each other, but they don't seem to hold connection. The iPod especially fails to connect. I've gotten to the point of the passkey and each device identifying the other, but that's where it ends.

Anyone have any success with this, LG or otherwise?

What are some good Go clients/servers?

I play Go on occasion. Here's what I've played on/heard of:

Goban - A nice little native Mac program that you can play against GnuGo with, or analyze SDF files with. It might also work with some online servers.

DragonGoServer.net - You can play correspondence games online here, no client required other than a web browser. Some people even play fast games on it. This is what I played on when I played regularly. I haven't been active on there for a year or so, though.

Kiseido Go Server (http://www.gokgs.com/) - I played on here once or twice, but they had a java client back then. Looks like they have a downloadable client on their web page.

Actually, I'll just link you to the Sensei's Library wiki. They have -all- sorts of resources for the Go junkie. http://senseis.xmp.net/ In particular, you can check out their entry on Go Servers: http://senseis.xmp.net/?GoServers

Have fun and good luck! :)
