    I've just run a test - only when I update the control dimensions does the opacity interpolate correctly - what do I have to do to get this working without changing the entire control? Do I have to target the layoutroot and then set the propertytarget to the path of the child control of layoutroot to get the opacity anim to work?

    i know what you're talking about - this obsession w/pre-adjudication is ridiculous!i for one support dismantling the current vb based 485 filing lottery system that utterly makes no sense whatsover! let people file 485 as and when 140 is approved and get rid of this cynical vb based filing -

    What are the changes of getting approval by changing H1 to F1 and H4 to F1? Do i need to be in status during their review period of COS (H1to F1) or i can start scholl after filling COS.

    Agree with the post above.. Lots of H1Bs are filed by unscrupulous employers who bring a person on H1B and don't pay them till they get a contract / client to bill the H1B to..

    USCIS needs to investigate this.. Time to write to USCIS to be more vigilant in monitoring these firms to ensure real people with real jobs out there can get the H1Bs

    Here's to wondering if the 14n isn't moving.. I've personally seen just a couple actually in the field, not a favorite of news photogs and I'm not sure what market is picking them up.

    It's tough to compete with all of the emerging DSLR's and that's obviously good for us consumers.

    Like many others we have been waiting for our AOS application to be approved for over 2 years. But the strange thing is, I did get an EAD approved but they never called me in for fingerprinting and Biometrics. I know I had to do the non-immigration "registration" that was initiated a few years ago and they had taken my fingerprints and biometrics, is that why they didn't call me in again? since they already have it?

    I had to get the fingerprints and retinal scan the last time I went out of the country and had to get the visa stamping done. But I don't think it was termed as non-immigrant "registration".

    Are you stuck in FBI name check? You can call CIS and check the status.

    How long did it take for the document to reach you after approval?

    3-4 days. These days they are fast on approvals. Best thing is to apply AP within 120 days range and apply EAD when 100 days away from expiry. Atleast you will get 2 years EAD and dont need to pay again.

    For those of you who have rotted in the BEC and USCIS..for many years..that has eventually denied you from being a citizen sooner..there are some posts in immigration.com I saw that talks about some kind of a campign to capture lost time...most of you will get GC soon..if you have wasted time..please look at a new campaign to recapture the lost time towards your citizenship

    - what documentation is required to be submitted to the USCIS about the new job.
    Employment letter along with AC21 letter.
    - What kind of documentation is required from the employer vs myself
    All you need from employer is employment letter.
    - When/how soon has this documentation is to be submitted
    I am not aware of any deadlines.
    - When do i need to apply for my renewal of my EAD card
    - What documentation is required to be submitted for the EAD renewal from employer vs myself
    Check 765 application form instructions on uscis.gov for both above.
    - Is it advisable to employ the services of an attorney if we run into issues.
    Sure, based on your questions above - an attorney may be useful to you. They can tell you what docs you need, where to get those from and to apply for renewals.
    - I worked on similar job for very short stints in between, but it was for a few weeks, does it endanger my case in anyway.
    Based on what you have told so far, doesn't seem like those endanger anything.

    I totally agree with you. I hope date will move fast now since there is not enough people in 2002-2003. I hope this will be same for India and china too. Let`s hope for the best.

    The backlog is so huge that there is no "light" at the end of the tunnel

    FB immigration is capped at 480K and EB immigration at 140K. Both are backlogged.. the ratio of cases is also perhaps 3:1 or 4:1, so the bulk of those pendng 485s are likely to be family based. the EB I-485 cases are probably somewhere around 250k of that 750k...

    Also, what is a backlogged case? USCIS has been changing the definition as they see fit. At one point cases that were pending FBI namecheck were not counted in backlogs!
